Susan Knoll

Director

Susan moved to Prince George in 1993 with husband Garry and two young daughters to continue the practice of Family Medicine with the Family Practice Residency program which started in 1995. She was extremely fortunate to have several excellent partners with whom she shared a primary care office and care for a wonderful panel of patients, as well as teach and mentor the Residents who came to train in Prince George. After 16 years of full service Family Medicine, she stepped into an administrative role as Site Director for the Prince George Residency program until June 2018. She retired in February 2020, in the early days of COVID-19.

Susan’s experience as a board member includes the BC College of Family Physicians of Canada for eight years, First Baptist Church for nine years, and UBC Family Practice Residency Board for nine years.

Susan and Garry enjoy their three grandchildren living just down the road from them and are pleased that another is expected in September but a bit further away in Revelstoke. Aside from stand-in babysitting, they enjoy biking, golf, Nordic skiing and gardening. Susan enjoys singing with the Cantata Choir and most recently, pickleball.
