Angela Aubichon

Director of Services

Angela Aubichon has been with AiMHi since 2005 – serving as a Manager for eleven year and served in her position as a Director of Services at AiMHi since 2018. Angela has had a number of bonus roles at AiMHi: she Chaired the Performance Improvement Committee for many years, helped organize a number of events, and most recently worked on helping AiMHi achieve its Certificate of Recognition status (COR) with WCB. To maintain that status, Angela is a certified internal COR auditor with the BC Municipal Safety Association.

Angela was born and raised in Prince George. She started her career with a small organization as a residential care worker at the age of 19 where she became very active within that organization’s union. She was the youngest executive member for CUPE’s social services sector at the age of 22 and was a member of their provincial youth committee. This work provided her with an opportunity to build her skills and knowledge in the area of Health and Safety, facilitation, finance, and performance management.

Over the years Angela has volunteered within the community in a number of areas, most notably as the Board Chair of the St. Mary’s School Parent Advisory Committee, and as the Board Chair of Performers North Entertainment Company. When not working or volunteering, she’s out enjoying nature with her family. It is a fundamental belief of Angela’s that we never stop learning: she recently completed the Business Management program at the College of New Caledonia and is looking forward to what is yet to come.

ONE VISION

We at AiMHi acknowledge and are grateful to be working and learning on the unceded ancestral lands of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation, McLeod Lake Indian band and the Wet'suwet'en nation. We honor and respect their enduring stewardship of the lands, recognizing their ongoing connection to the territories, its resources, and their rich cultural heritage.
