Sandi Beningfield

Director of Services

Sandi was born in Vancouver where she spent 10 years working in the dairy industry in an accounting role. In 1990, she moved to Prince George with her husband.

Once in Prince George, she ran her own business for several years where she was introduced to children with disabilities. Sandi spent a significant amount of time volunteering at Simon Fraser Lodge. It was both of these experiences that started her interest in seeking outside employment in this field – and what brought her to work at AiMHi.

Sandi has worked for AiMHi for 20 years starting as a relief worker. She then worked through various roles to her current position as Director of Services. She has her Developmental Disabilities Certificate.

Helping people have the best lives they possibly can is so important and extremely rewarding to Sandi.

ONE VISION

We at AiMHi acknowledge and are grateful to be working and learning on the unceded ancestral lands of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation, McLeod Lake Indian band and the Wet'suwet'en nation. We honor and respect their enduring stewardship of the lands, recognizing their ongoing connection to the territories, its resources, and their rich cultural heritage.
